Pierrot's love story is revealed within the confines of a psychiatric ward, where reality and imagination interact with one another. Through music and expressive movements, the deep themes of love, death, and fate come to the fore. Pierrot's distant love for Colombina is overshadowed by mystical figures, whose presence signals the approach of suffering and death. The play concludes with anxiety, symbolizing the inevitable capture by fate.
