02/O6/2022 On the 2nd of June was the 85th anniversary of the people’s artist, stage director and the artistic director of the Yerevan Musical Comedy Theatre Yervand Ghazanchyan.
On the front part of the Yerevan Musical Comedy Theatre after Hakop Paronyan, was opened a united memorial desk dedicated to People’s Artists Yervand Ghazanchyan and Galya Novents.

12 May, 2021co Yerevan State Musical Comedy Theatre has a new hall. It is named after people’ s artist Yervand Ghazanchyan, who had a valuable contribution in the theatre. Officially “Yervand Ghazanchyan Hall” was opened on May 12. The Hall was opened with the performance “Neron and Seneca”. During the interview the stage director of the performance Hakop Ghazanchyan said that the idea of opening a new hall was Yervand Ghazanchyan’s. He added that this hall can be considered as a small stage of the theatre.
On 2017, June 1, in Yerevan Musical Comedy Theatre took place the ceremony, dedicated to the 80th birthday anniversary of the legends of Armenian Theatre Yervand Ghazanchyan and his wife Galya Novents, Among the guests of the ceremony there were politicians, people of culture, theatre lovers.
During his speech Yervand Ghazanchyan said “I wish this evening will be remembered not as Yervand Ghazanchyan’s and Galya Novents’ anniversary, but by the presence of you, dear audience”.
2016 is a year of Jubilee celebrations for Yerevan Musical Comedy Theatre. The Theatre is celebrating the 75 th anniversary of its establishment. During the whole year there were played several performances dedicated to the celebrities of the theatre Vartan Adjemyan, Artemy Ayvazyan, Aram Ter-Hovhannessyan, Shara Talyan, Tadevos Saryan.
The theatre went to the artistic tour to Glendale, USA, with the performances “You Can’t Get Rid Of Me” (G. Khanjyan) and “Mister Babick and The Others” (ZH. Harutiunyan). The jubilee events were concluded with the ceremonial jubilee project, which took place in the Musical Comedy Theatre after Hakop Paronyan.
Բախտավորություն է, երբ հեղինակին հնարավորություն է ընձեռվում ներկայացնել մի թատրոնի պատմություն, որի հիմնադրման ականատեսն է: Ասվածը վերաբերում է արվեստաբան, ՀՀ մշակույթի վաստակավոր գործիչ Սերգեյ Առաքելյանին, որի «Հայ մշակույթի մեծերը» մատենաշարի 17-րդ աշխատությունը նվիրված է Երեւանի Հ. Պարոնյանի անվան երաժշտական կոմեդիայի պետական թատրոնի հիմնադրման 75-ամյակին:
Թատրոնի հիմնադրման օրվանից Սերգեյ Առաքելյանը ոչ միայն այդ մշակութային օջախում է, այլեւ բազում կերպարներ է խաղացել, այդ թվում՝ Կուրտիս (Շեքսպիրի «12-րդ գիշեր»), Մանկովիչ (Նուշիչի «Տիկին մինիստրուհին», Ամիլախվարի (Ջոջուա՝ «Ծղնեթցի Մայան»), Ադվոկատ (Չարենցի «Կապկազ թամաշա») եւ այլն: Ասում են՝ Տաթեւիկ Սազանդարյանը, Գոհար Գասպարյանը, Շարա Տալյանը հիացել են նրա բարիտոնով, օրինակ, Մոկրոուսովի «Որտեղ է այդ տունը, որտեղ է այդ փողոցը» օպերետում Պյոտրի կերպարում:
